IP Family DD1

DD1

DD1 is Decode IP that supports a series of quantum error experiments with surface code, including stability and quantum memory.

A stability experiment is a decoding experiment that measures resilience to time-like errors by testing how well a decoder can determine the parity of errors on a horizontal sheet of space time.

A memory experiment measures resilience to space-like errors by testing how well a decoder can determine the parity of error on a vertical sheet of space-time, representing a logical operator.

Key features:

  • Supports up to four decoder instances with dedicated cluster and core register spaces
  • Support for metrics generation
  • Handling basic errors and hook (circuit-level) errors
  • Architecture supports planar and rotated planar surface codes
